Siete niños fallecieron y cinco resultaron heridos por "error" el viernes en un bombardeo de la Fuerza Aérea de Nigeria que atacó a "bandidos armados" en Maradi, sur del Níger, dijo a la AFP una fuente gubernamental regional.
Reports from Niger say an air strike by the military from neighbouring Nigeria has killed seven children by mistake. The governor of the Maradi region said 5 others had been wounded in the strike which occurred on Friday. Nigerian officials say they're investigating the incident.

"Hubo un error en los bombardeos, que cayeron en la frontera y causaron víctimas en nuestro territorio, en la aldea de Nachadé" , declaró Chaibou Aboubacar, gobernador de Maradi. “Las víctimas son doce niños, siete de los cuales murieron y cinco resultaron heridos” , agregó.
