Taylor Swift lidera la lista de nominaciones a los Premios MTV VMAs , dedicada a reconocer a los mejores videos del año, la artista estadunidense suma ocho menciones; le sigue SZA con seis , luego Doja Cat, Kim Petras, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo y Sam Smith con cinco cada una.
Las artistas latinas Karol G y Shakira fueron nominadas a Artista del Año, categoría que por primera vez en la historia de los MTV VMAs está llena solo de mujeres; en la lista también se encuentran Beyoncé, Doja Cat, Nicki Minaj y Taylor Swift.
